Kayla’s journey as a therapist has been shaped by roots in community-based mental health and residential treatment centers. Working in these intensive environments allowed her to witness the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Through a combination of practice and lived experience, Kayla has spent years partnering with adults from all walks of life navigating burdens and life transitions, including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, relationship dynamics, and career transitions.
Kayla believes in showing up as her authentic self and utilizing a holistic counseling approach, incorporating mental, physical, and spiritual health components. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, she draws from a diverse toolkit tailored specifically to your needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative and Existential approaches, and Motivational Interviewing. Kayla’s approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and deeply compassionate.
